Below are some guides around fire safety in public spaces. While these guides are aimed primarily at persons in control such as owners, occupiers and managers, (see Section 18 of the Fire Services Act), particular aspects of the guides, such as those concerning fire prevention and what to do in the event of a fire, are relevant to all.

The provisions of these guides, if applied, should minimise the occurrence of fires in public spaces, thus helping to keep our communities safe.
