European Fire Safety Week takes place from today – 18th November

European Fire Safety Week aims to bridge the gaps in Fire Safety knowledge, data, legislation and standards through the exchange of the best practices within the EU member states.

EUFSW24 will address current European challenges and issues related to fire safety, with this year’s particular focus on the safety of the most vulnerable members of society. During the workshops, seminars, webinars and other events, EU decision-makers, academics, researchers, firefighters, and other stakeholders will discuss about: fire safety and sustainability, strategies and technologies for a safe home environment, implementation of fire and electrical safety measures under the revised Energy Performance of Building Directive, and on the role of flame retardants in modern society.
